Key Responsibilities
As a Nursery Apprentice, your duties will include:
- Supporting children’s development through structured play and learning
- Planning and reviewing daily activities in line with the EYFS Framework
- Recording learning progress and development evidence
- Creating stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environments
- Encouraging speech, language and communication skills
- Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Providing professional and consistent feedback to parents/carers
- Following nursery policies, procedures and safeguarding standards
- Ensuring children’s welfare remains at the centre of all activities
- Working both indoors and outdoors throughout the day
